Just Us Girls Challenge #437 - Color Week

For my card this week, I used Altenew's Hennah Element stamp set.
And, I also used Papertrey's Birthday Wishes die cut.  For once, my purple actually showed as purple! [Usually, it photographs black :)]

Your turn!  Come on over to JUGS Challenge #437, and show us how you use purple!

Michele's 50th Birthday Bash

Tonight we are having a fun hop in celebration of Michele Gross' [owner of CAS-ual Friday's stamps] Big 50 birthday!  The hop will run through April 23rd.  You should be coming from Lisa Mensing's blog (if you are currently hopping).  Otherwise, you can see the entire list over on the CAS-ual Friday's blog.

Okay, for my card I used CAS-Fridays's super fun Flower Case Alphabet, and added in an adorable ballerina from the Tutu stamp set.

Whenever I make a card a 50th birthday, I always use "fabulous @ 50".  [I seriously dislike any type of over-the-hill cards].  I water colored the background panel, colored in the letters with my Micro fine Sharpie pens, and popped them up with foam tape.

I finished off the inside with the big 50!
My hb sentiment is from Heartfelt Sayings.

Michele is offering 5, $50 gift certificates [to the CFS store] for her celebration!  Be sure and leave a comment here, [and on all the other blogs] for a chance to win!  [You can see the entire list over on the CAS-ual Friday's Blog,] or you can hop on over to Lori Kobular's blog.

Have fun hopping!  Michele, happy, happy birthday!

STAMPlorations Inspiration #171

This week, we are focusing on Dee's Artzy Impressions, illustrated by Deepti Malik.

For this fun baby card,  I used Tweet Love [and matching dies], the Congrats Word Die, and the Hearts All Over Stencil.  I used Distress Inks for the sponging of the hearts, and water colored the cute giraffe.

For more inspiration, pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog.  Don't forget to leave your comment for the monthly prize~

Just Us Girls Challenge #436 - Trend Week

I'm so good with stripes!

Well sheez - I just realized the challenge called for black & white stripes!  I'm going with this.

Okay fine, I made another one [the guilt!].  I mean seriously, it is a challenge and cheating doesn't count.  Especially when I am on the team! :)

I printed off some digital black & white paper, and mixed it with some blue polka dot digital paper.  Sometimes digi paper is the way to go!  My image is from STAMPlorations Radiant Roses, with a sentiment from Hero Arts.

Your turn!  Create a card with black & white stripes, and upload it over on the JUGS Blog.
Have fun!

This week's challenge is all about vivid colors.

I love me vivid!  I also love vivid patterns~

I used Verve Making a Statement for the sentiment, and MFT Happy Pandas [retired] for the fun guy.

How do you create with vivid colors?  Come on over to the Seize the Birthday Challenge, and show us your creation.

Dare 2B Artzy Day

It's my day over on the Dare 2B Artzy blog.  Since I don't like having to "pop on over" to see a card, I will post it here too. :)

For my card, I started by sponging on ink using the Wild Flower Stencil, and then cut out the triangle.  Using the BEE-utiful stamp set [and matching dies] I colored in the flowers using my Copics, and stamped the sentiment.

A card I think will make someone feel very special.

I hope you enjoyed my card today!
