Happy Little Stampers

I'm joining in the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies Challenge, and the Christmas Challenge; Anything Goes with an optional twist of a stencil.  I, once again, needed 1 more Christmas card.  [I really thought I was done!]  Out came the dies, and I opted for no stencil.

For my card, I started with a piece of cardboard, sprayed it with ink spray, and then crimped the die-cut circle.  Keeping with the texture, I also used Happy Little Stampers Christmas Tree die for a tree out of the cardboard.  I inked it with a dauber, drew on "snow" with a white gel pen, and then glued on some glitter.  My embossed sentiment is from the retired Hero Arts Holiday Sayings set.  I rather like this card - I like the way the ink shows on the cardboard -- it's different.

Thanks HLS - I had fun.

CAS Mix Up Challenge & Flower Challenge #15

I'm playing in the CAS Mix Up Challenge today; stamping + 2.  I was totally inspired by Nancy's card, so I CASED it.

I changed the alcohol inked background colors, and added in some bokeh dots, and I finally used the tiny house die cut that I have had forever... My sentiment is from Hero Arts Holiday Sayings.

Thanks CAS Mix Up [and Nancy] - I had fun!

----------------------------------------------------

Since I had a piece of my inked panel left over, I decided to play in the Flower Challenge #15; anything but a card, by making a bookmark.

I was inspired by Ruth's making of a bookmark.  [I'll be honest, Ruth enabled me on the Avery Elle die she used for her bookmark - yep, I searched for it, and bought it!]  Meanwhile I used the PTI Bookmark die for mine.  I also used the Memory Box Darling Poppies flower die, along with a sentiment from Paper Sweeties, For You stamp set.  Since the bookmark matches the above card, I have the perfect mail lady gift!

I do love a good challenge!  Thanks Flower Challenge [and Ruth]~

CAS-ual Fridays Day

It's CAS-ual Fridays day here on my blog.  Today I am making a Hanukkah card.  CAS-ual Fridays has such an amazing selection of images for this holiday.  You can see them all HERE.

Now for today's card, I got creative!

See those "candles"?  I used the L from the Flower Case Alphabet stamp set, and the "flames" I made from Modern Petals.  The Happy Chanukah is from Star of David.  I impressed myself by using the sets "outside the box". :)

Coffee Lovers Hop - Final Day

It's the final day of the Winter Coffee Lover's Hop.  This week went really fast!  I had a blast playing every day.  There were so many fun cards to look at in the Linky too!

For my final card today, I am using CAS-ual Fridays.  [Yes, CAS-ual Fridays is one of the CLH Sponsors too]

I sponged a card panel with Distress Inks, and because of the die I used, I was able to get 2 cards made!  While this first one is for the Coffee Lovers Hop, my 2nd one is just a regular Christmas card.  See that tiny coffee cup?  That's a sneak peek at the CFS January Release!  [It will be an amazing release - just sayin!]
I went ahead and used the cut out portion for a 2nd card.  While it isn't a coffee card, I thought I'd share the "2 for one" you can get from a cut out.
I used the fun Merry Christmas sentiment, and the snowflake is from the Flurry Fri-Dies set.

Should you be interested in buying anything from CAS-ual Fridays, be sure to use my code for a 15% discount!

I sure hope you enjoyed the coffee week on my blog this week.  I know I enjoyed making the cards~

Guestie for CAS on Sunday Challenge

I'm pretty excited to be the Guest Designer over on the CAS on Sunday Challenge!  I won the washi tape challenge #121 with this card, which won the GD spot.

The challenge this week is Christmas.  Works for me as I ran out of Christmas cards and needed another one for a co-worker.

The Coffee Lover's Hop is ending today, so that timing is perfect also.  For my card, I used the newly released STAMPlorations Big Christmas Cups.  I water colored the cup and cut it out, cut a frame, and stamped a sentiment.  Keeping a card CAS is my type of card!

Your turn!  Come on over to the CAS on Sunday blog and play along!
Thanks CAS on Sunday Team for having me today - it was fun~

Coffee Lover's Hop - Day 7

Almost to the last day of the Coffee Lover's Hop!  I hope you have enjoyed my week of coffee cards so far.

Yep, another Fused shaker card.  I do love that tool!  I used a sentiment from Verve's Coffee Helps, and that tiny cup you see?  That is another sneak peek from the CAS-ual Friday's January release - so fun!

See you tomorrow for the last day --

Dare 2B Artzy Day for the Coffee Lover's Hop - Day 6

The week is flying by - on to day 6 of the Coffee Lover's Hop.  Today I am using another sponsor's images; Dare 2B Artzy.  [I am also over on the D2BA Blog with this same card]

I sponged my background with distress inks, and sprinkled a little water for spots.  I also used some white gel pen to add more "snow".  I used the Winter Plaid Paper for my punched trees, and used the [so fun] Perfect Blend stamp set and matching coffee cup die.  The sentiment is from Bright Birthday.

Just FYI - D2BA Coffee Sets are discounted 10% through the coffee hop!
